“Very much enjoyed my stay. Would definitely consider staying at the hotel again, particularly during warmer months as the roof terrace and bar, pool and loungers really make a visit relaxing and special. Although not adversely effected on this stay I did note that the hotel hires this terrace out privately and they did so on two occasions; as a result guests csn be excluded from using the outside space. I am sure this is profitable for the hotel, but I would have been very disatisfied with this if I hadn't had other plans on those occasions and wanted to relax and enjoy the view etc.”

“The hotel was very central, good location. The hotel itself was lovely, the rooms seemed quite basic, and not as impressive as the photos made out to be. Also there was a bit of noise from outside every morning. Most disappointing was we asked for a recommendation for a restaurant from the hotel. They said we had to book. When we got there the restaurant was empty, there was no atmosphere and the prices were ridiculously expensive. Apart from that the hotel staff and feeling of the hotel was friendly.”

“The Miro hotel was lovely, but in need of some refurbishment - the rooms needed up-dating as it felt like a boutique hotel of 10 years ago, but it could have just been general wear and tear. It was very minimal and so lacked a little pizzazz.”

“The only thing Bilboa really has going for it is the Guggenheim Museum, which sits just down and across the street from Miro Hotel (and may the only reason why people even stay at Miro). The hotel itself wasn't as nice as I had perceived - the rooms, although spacious, showed signs of wear. It wasn't very lively either. And there was major construction going on directly across from the hotel every day. It's not a bad option of a hotel really, but in the ultra competitive world of design hotels, Miro Hotel needs to step it up.”

“The stay was good overall until the hotel refused to let us keep our car in their parking lot for a few extra hrs. We had to find parking and were 1 hr late for our private tour of the guggenheim.”

“The furniture was a bit "tired" and worn (rip in the sofa and chipped paint, for example), but otherwise a fantastic design. Smart use of the small size of the room, with a comfortable bed, nice shower.”

“Miro Hotel is perfectly located between the Guggenheim and Museo Bilboa, and only a few block from some great shopping in downtown. The room was fantastic, modern and clean, with a great view of the Guggenheim.We had booked the 100% Miro package, which included the room, a buffet breakfast, 2 tickets for the Guggenheim and free DVD rental (which we did not use). The package is a fantastic deal and frankly, the breakfast was one of the best we had all trip.The hotel staff was friendly, excited, and helpful.”
