the dining area feels like a war bunker..too cold, and not even musack!

The quality of the suites, level of service and breakfast were all absolutely excellent - I'd definitely go back. The only slight disappointment was the spa, which turned out to be a heated jacuzzi bath, pleasant relaxation area and various massage/manicure/pampering services (no sauna, steam room, pool etc). But overall a great experience.

From the moment we called to get verbal directions from a highway closeby we were warmly directed. The check in was swift as well as check out. The amenities were well done in the room and it was a feeling of a more luxurious european apartment than a typical hotel. The price was excellent as well. Told at least 10 people that live locally in Toronto so far about what a terrific experience.

The rooms at the Cosmopolitan are really a home away from home, with extra facilities to make even a long stay comfortable. We stayed for a week so it was great to have a living area separate from the bedroom, plus a washer and dryer and even a kitchen. The public spaces were a bit over-rated: the gym was very small, and the spa facilities were only available to people who booked treatments. But overall it was a very pleasant stay and I would go back.

off-hours laundry services were severely limited. i needed clothes cleaned, and they would not help me.

-room was more like a suite, 2 rooms, full kitchen, cool water feature-staff was incredibly accommadating, including running down the street to hail a taxi- above and beyond service

The room was one of the nicest we've ever stayed at - beautiful, large, with every imaginable amenity.

i really liked everything about this hotel. the price was very reasonable for the setting. the rooms were suites. we had a kitchen'living room area, a washer and dryer for clothing (no charge except 1.10 for the detergent), a small bedroom, and spa-like serene setting. the staff was just great and always happy to answer our calls, suggest nearby restaurants, bring extra coffee and cream to our room. and we called a lot to be honest... they didn't even charge us for every little thing (extra coffee, cream, etc) like some of the larger chain hotels we have visited... it was just so pleasant that i will go back just for fun... i don't even feel the need to look elsewhere in toronto...the hotel is close to the big train station. it is also only one block away from colborne lane (an awesome molecular gastronomy restaurant) and houses its own swanky wine bar... also nearby shopping on queen street... and close to the larger convention hotels.
